A Hidden Gem in Moonee Ponds

From the moment you step into Saros Bar & Dining, you’re enveloped in an ambience that exudes European elegance. The restaurant’s New York-style booths provide a sense of privacy and comfort, while the stunning marble bar serves as a focal point, beckoning guests to relax with a signature cocktail in hand. Whether you’re planning a romantic date night, a celebratory dinner, or a refined gathering with friends and family, Saros Bar & Dining offers an inviting space that caters to every occasion.

Craft Cocktails: An Art Form at Saros

No visit to Saros Bar & Dining is complete without experiencing the craftsmanship of Nikki, the restaurant’s resident mixologist. Nikki’s expertise in creating bespoke cocktails is nothing short of magical. With an intuitive understanding of flavor profiles and a keen sense of balance, she crafts drinks that are as personal as they are delicious. Whether your palate leans towards bold and complex flavors or something lighter and more refreshing, Nikki’s cocktail creations are sure to delight and surprise.

A Culinary Journey Through Europe

The menu at Saros Bar & Dining is a true celebration of European flavors, with each dish meticulously prepared to showcase the finest ingredients and culinary techniques. Our evening began with the Bluefin Tuna Tartare, a dish that is as visually stunning as it is delectable. The delicate texture and vibrant freshness of the tuna, paired with Chef Nestor’s impeccable presentation, set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
Next came the Capesante (scallops), a dish that quickly became a table favorite. Cooked to perfection, these tender morsels were bathed in a buttery richness that enveloped the taste buds with each bite, leaving us yearning for more.
While the mains were certainly enjoyable, it was the desserts that truly stole the show. We ended our meal with the Paris Brest and Louis XV, two desserts that epitomize elegance and indulgence. The Paris Brest, with its light choux pastry and praline cream, was a delightful contrast to the rich, chocolatey decadence of the Louis XV. Unable to choose a favorite, we recommend ordering both for a sweet conclusion to your dining experience at Saros.

Why Saros Bar & Dining Should Be Your Next Culinary Destination

Saros Bar & Dining is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination where exceptional food, impeccable service, and a sophisticated atmosphere come together to create a dining experience that lingers long after the meal is over. Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply seeking a refined spot to unwind after a busy day, this Moonee Ponds treasure promises to deliver on all fronts.
